Sioux Falls has been ranked the best city in the country for new college grads in 2026 by Checkr!

The ranking showed Sioux Falls scored in the top 10 for both affordability and employment, two factors critically important for new college grads.

“The 2026 overall rankings span all city sizes, and the top ten reflect a Midwest-heavy mix of communities where affordability and employment strength converge,” the release of the rankings says. “Sioux Falls, SD, leads the list this year, edging out last year’s frontrunners. Its top-ten employment ranking, excellent affordability, and solid social scores make it one of the most well-rounded metros in the country for young professionals.”
