Join us for a groundbreaking for the new I-29/85th St. interchange!
After more than a decade of planning, construction of a new interchange at 85th Street and Interstate 29 between Sioux Falls and Tea is set to begin. The new interchange will be a diverging diamond, like the one at 41st Street and Interstate 29, and will complement the growing commercial, residential, and healthcare developments in the area. The project received federal, state, and local funding and is a unique partnership, having support from the South Dakota Department of Transportation, City of Sioux Falls, City of Tea, Lincoln County, and a group of private property owners in the area.
The groundbreaking ceremony will be taking place indoors at Sage Meadow Village Apartments, located at 7950 S. Bergamot Ave., Sioux Falls, SD, 57108, in the community room, located near the front entrance. Enter the property at Tallgrass & 89th Street and park along S. Bergamot Avenue.
