Description
Affordable Housing Solutions is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which was established in 1978 to provide financing for two HUD Section 8 projects. It is an instrumentality of the Sioux Falls Housing and Redevelopment Commission (SFHRC) and the local public housing authority. In 1997 it was designated as a HUD Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO). In 2011, the Sioux Falls Housing Corporation began doing business as Affordable Housing Solutions (AHS). Affordable Housing Solutions owns and manages seven separate apartment units that are rented to individuals that make less than 60% of the HUD Area Median Income.
This project will consist of six town home/twin home units. Two of which will be accessible as a slab on grade construction. Each home will be a two-bedroom one bath home, with the four remaining homes having the availability to have an additional two bedrooms and one bath. Each unit will be sold to an income-eligible buyer that meets the HUD income guidelines of being at or below 80% of the Area Median Income.
