Honoring Leo Reynolds

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of our friend and former Chairman, Leo Reynolds.

He came to Sioux Falls with Litton Industries in the late 70's.  With an engineering background and entrepreneurial spirit, he founded Electronic Systems Inc. in 1980; growing the company, creating hundreds of jobs in the state and providing opportunity.

Leo was a Development Foundation Board Member for many years and served as Chair in 1996. His own experiences were an asset in promoting the region and telling the Sioux Falls story to attract new and expanding business.

Our condolences to Leo's family and friends.  He will be remembered for his caring demeanor, work ethic, and steady leadership style.
