Talent and Recruitment Coordinator

Claire Herbst graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resource Management. She received her undergrad from University of South Dakota in Accounting along with a minor in Legal Studies.

Following completion of her undergrad degree, Claire began her career at PREMIER Bankcard as an accountant. She then joined the Sioux Falls Development Foundation as the Talent Recruitment Coordinator in September of 2022.

In her role, she will be working in collaboration with area businesses and regional education institutions to source, attract and match talented students with internship opportunities. She will also provide opportunities, specifically for interns, to showcase what it’s like to live and work in Sioux Falls.

Outside of her work at the SFDF, Claire is the chapter advisor and chairman of the advisory board for USD’s chapter of Alpha Phi. She also is in her first year as a Steering Committee member for the Young Professionals Network.
