Join us as we celebrate the groundbreaking for improvements to Hayward Park!
Improvements to the park include:
- A new spray park with exciting water features
- Shade structures
- Restrooms
- Replacement of the existing playground with an obstacle course-style play feature
- Construction of an internal walking loop to connect all the park elements
- Development of an artificial turf off-leash dog park for neighborhood residents to gather and let their dogs exercise
Due to the weather, the groundbreaking will be held indoors at the Hayward Elementary School gym. Parking is available at the Hayward Elementary School, near the corner of N. Valley View Rd & W. Foxdale Street, and additional parking is available along the streets.
