Shantel Krebs – Avera Health
Shantel Krebs serves as the Director of Avera Academy. The Avera Academy is committed to helping high school students develop career journeys with healthcare. She is also an American businesswoman and former South Dakota Secretary of State. She previously served in the South Dakota House of Representatives and South Dakota Senate.
Lucas Fiegen – Fiegen Construction
Lucas is a registered professional architect and a third generation leader of Fiegen Construction Co. From an early age, he spent time working in every facet of the construction business – from pouring concrete to erecting steel and precast. Those valuable skills, combined with earning his Masters of Architecture from the University of Lincoln-Nebraska, led to a passion of Design/Build where he is able to apply both in a comprehensive knowledge that best serves their clients.
Having devoted his entire life to the Sioux Falls area, Lucas continues to be invested in creating a community in which we live and work. His volunteering through countless committees demonstrates time management, team-first mentality and a proactive approach to expanding his skillset beyond the construction industry. His involvement in these public/private partnerships has allowed Lucas to develop a network of high level relationships to further his continual growth in the community. Building and design are his passion and he continues to deliver to the community that formed him.
Denise Guzzetta – Sioux Falls Development Foundation
Denise M. Guzzetta serves as Vice President of Talent and Workforce Development of the Sioux Falls Development Foundation. In her current role, she is responsible for the strategic design and implementation of workforce programming initiatives designed to achieve the Forward Sioux Falls Strategic Workforce Action Agenda.
Before her role as Vice President of Talent and Workforce, she has 20 plus years of executive Fortune 50 experience serving as Vice President for BASF Global, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Company and in advisory positions for the National Public Utilities Commission, The Society for Human Resource Management and the Worldwide ERC.
Before working in the private sector, Denise worked for the Central Intelligence Agency, where Judge William Webster awarded her the Meritorious Excellence Award for her design and implementation of a new supply management system. Her unique experience in data analytics, finance, marketing, and organizational design, allows her to strategically align and utilize essential resources to plan for current and future corporate employment and workforce needs.
Denise is an alumnus of Catholic University in Washington, D.C., and Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
Valerie Loudenback – Grand Prairie Foods
Valerie is co-owner and Vice President of All Things People at Grand Prairie Foods. She has a work history in non-profit management, healthcare administration, and human resources. She is an authentic leader who wears her feeling on her sleeve and is always up for a new idea or challenge! She strives to make each employee feel valued and known. In her other life, she is owner of Bright Beginnings Studio where she leads Kindermusik classes and an Indoor Cycling instructor at Great Life.
