Ryan Solberg

Economic Development Associate

Ryan Solberg is originally from Mitchell, SD, and attended Augustana University where he majored in Government and International Affairs and minored in Economics and History. He graduated with his Bachelor of Arts degree in May of 2020. While in college, Ryan interned for the City of Sioux Falls Planning and Development Services Department, as well as the Office of Congressman Collin Peterson (MN). He also represented Augustana as a Peace Scholar at the 2019 International Summer School in Oslo, Norway.

Ryan joined the Sioux Metro Growth Alliance in April of 2021 after briefly working at a real estate finance firm in Sioux Falls. In the newly created role of Economic Development Specialist, he will provide direct economic development management support to the organization’s investor communities.
